EXPERIENCE
Stephen Potel is the Principal and Managing Director for the Paramount Lodging Advisors based at London, U.K. in Europe. Prior to co-founding Paramount™, Potel has more than three decades of hotel industry experience. Potel's diverse background includes hotel ownership, more than two decades of hotel brokerage and consultancy with Routels - a specialty hotel consultancy company based in London. During this period, Stephen undertook at least $3.5 billion of hotel sales involving over 16,000 rooms, both in Europe and around the world.
Subsequently, Potel was the head of international hotel brokerage for Knight Frank and currently is a hotel consultant to Atisreal, two of Europe’s largest real estate companies. A graduate of Oxford University, he is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, as well as a Member of the Hotel and Catering International Management Association.
