EXPERIENCE
Walker Geyer is the founder and owner of NorthStar Capital Access, a real estate capital firm dedicated to sourcing debt and equity for developers and investment companies. NorthStar Capital Access provides Paramount Lodging Advisors and its clients with a complementary, yet independent, finance capability. A wide range of bank, life insurance, CMBS and finance company options are available to Geyer and Paramount for acquisition, construction and permanent debt for all types of hospitality property in the United States and abroad. In addition, he pursues structured finance, mezzanine debt and equity solutions on behalf of Paramount’s hospitality clients. Geyer received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration in finance at the Kellogg School of Graduate Management at Northwestern University. Prior to joining Paramount and establishing NorthStar, he held management positions with Arthur Andersen & Company, IC Industries, The Boston Globe Newspaper Company, and Consolidated Employment Benefits Corporation.
